Austin comes to Stretch Pass Advising with a prolific and diverse playing background, that will be a monumental asset to the organization and our players.
Hailing from Livonia, Michigan, Austin attended high school and played Michigan High School Hockey for the prestigious Cranbrook-Kingswood program graduating in 2015. He spent all four years with the Varsity program where he collected two State Championships, multiple First-Team All-State awards, a place on the 2015 Dream Team, and capped his high school career as the 2015 Mr. Hockey award winner as the school's captain.
Following his prolific high school career, he spent multiple years in the USHL before making his commitment to Miami University for Division 1 hockey where he spent his freshman season before transferring to Canisius College where he played four years and served as the teams alternate captain in 2021-2022.
Post graduation from Canisius, he joined the SPHL's Fayetteville Marksmen where he went on to win the SPHL's Rookie of the Year award before heading overseas to play in the Mestis (Finnish Pro) in 2023 where he won the Mestis Championship while being named the playoff MVP. He also spent time in the ExtraLiga which is the top Slovakian pro league before joining the SPHL's Huntsville Havoc in 2024.
